Camping with Daddy

Last weekend Joseph took Rebecah camping for the first time.  They camped out in the backyard which is the perfect place....close to a bathroom and if the weather doesn't cooperate it is a quick dash inside.  Rebecah was SO excited to go camping.  She was telling random strangers at the park that she was going camping with Daddy!  Rebecah was very adamant that Kimball and I not participate at all.  She knew from past experience that when Kimball and Joseph would camp she wasn't allowed so she was making sure she had the total camping experience with Joseph...alone.

Rebecah did decide to share the s'mores with Kimball and me and they were good s'mores.  It was in the mid-70's so the chocolate was soft so it melted quickly when the hot marshmallows were added.  Yum!  

Rebecah seemed to be a natural camper.  She fell asleep between 9:00 and 9:15 and slept soundly until 7:00.  The weather was perfect...upper 50s for a low overnight and no rain.  Rebecah had a great time and she keeps asking when she can go again.

Ready for bed, but not looking tired.
