A Fabulous Fourth

We had a nice 4th of July.  Our actual holiday was pretty calm, we just enjoyed spending time as a family.  Joseph took 2 days off from work, but with his work schedule and the weekend he ended up being home a week.  Joseph's work schedule can be really nice sometimes! During all of the extra family time we worked on projects around the house and went to a few different parks.  We enjoyed listening to patriotic songs on the radio, but the fireworks here started so late...10 pm...that we opted to go to bed instead of watching them.  It wasn't worth it to me to let the kids stay up late when I knew they would be up before 7:00 the next morning.

of burgers, but we still managed to do hot dogs and corn on the cob too.
